Condition

Watercolor and conté crayon over pencil on paper. Inscribed Goldschmidt and 62 (in another hand, on the reverse). Applied watercolor is in good condition. The sheet with slight mat and light stain. Two discolorations at the top left and right edges from old scotch tape hinging, which has permanently discolored the sheet. Handling creases and a diagonal hard crease starting 1 3/4 in. above the bottom left corner on the left edge and extending 5 1/4 inch to the bottom edge. Evenly spaced vertical lines, perhaps part of a grid, are visible at the extreme top and bottom edges. Surface dirt. Framed behind glass.
