Condition
The works are presented in a joint gilt frame and have not been examined out of this frame.
Tuke: Oil on board. The work is thinly painted and the board is visible along the left and right sides. The colors are fresh. Under UV light, there are scattered small inpaints in the white background and a small spot in the figures left calf. The verso is slightly beveled at the edges. The picture surface is in generally good condition. Under UV light, there are a few dashes of inpaintimg that appear to the right of the sitter's head.
Lemon: Oil on board. The work is thinly painted and the board is visible along the left and right sides. The colors are fresh. Under UV light, there are scattered small spots and dashes of inpaint in the background and a few small spots in the figures right shoulder and hip and left thigh. The verso is obscured by a receipt from The Goupil Gallery.
