Condition

Taped to the mat along the entire top edge. The artist's pinholes are visible in all four corners. There is some minor rippling throughout the sheet and some minor spots of discoloration in the sitter's jawline, neck and upper chest. There is some evidence of darkening similar to that from water damage along the right side of the lower edge. There is a 2 1/2 inch tear approximately 7 inches above the bottom left corner, extending from the left edge inwards to the work. It is not very visible in the background, and part of the tear is concealed under the current matting. There are two pieces of old masking tape adhered to the verso to address this tear. In otherwise good condition.
