Catalogue Note
Foujita left Paris for Brazil in December 1931, the beginning of a two year sojourn through Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Cuba, Mexico and the American Southwest. He was particularly drawn to the cowboys and locals he encountered in Mexico. The present lot is an example of the drawings the artist created as a record of his travels.
