Condition
The sheet is hinged in two place along the top edge. The left edge of the sheet is straight, the bottom edge is mainly straight, and the top and right edges are deckled. There are a few very small tears scattered aroung the extreme edges, though none interferes with the picture plane. The exposed area of the sheet has darkened with age. In overall very good condition. Framed behind PlexiGlas.

According to Sir Christopher Lloyd and Joachim Pissarro, this work relates to an etching (Delteil 87) dated 1889. The etching depicts the left half of the composition, the woman with the pitchfork in the foreground.
