Condition
The first (Nature morte a la bassine et a la tasse): oil on unlined canvas. The canvas undulates slightly. The picture surface is covered by a think, quite shiny varnish. There is a web of very fine stable craquelure. Under UV light, their are no apparent inpaints visible.
The second (Nature morte): Oil on unlined canvas. There is a bump to the canvas in the upper left quadrant near the center which corresponds to a glue patch on the reverse. Under UV light this area fluoresces as do the extreme edges, though the varnish makes it difficult to read the picture surface.
