Condition
The board is stable. There are some very small retouchings to the upper edge, not visible when framed, and a tiny area of retouching in the upper right corner, visible under ultra-violet light. Apart from some very minor surface abrasions in the upper left and right corners, this work is in very good condition.
Colours: The colours in the printed catalogue illustration are inaccurate. The tones are predominantly orange and ochre, not red and brown as illustrated. Please refer to the online catalogue illustration.

Catalogue Note
'All perception of colour is deceiving… We don’t see colours as they really are… This game of colours – the change of identity- is the object of my study' (Josef Albers, quoted in Josef Albers (exhibition catalogue), Galerie Karsten Greve, Cologne, 1989, p. 21).
