Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a thick milky varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating. There are however, some small areas of fluorescence, possibly retouchings, visible under UV light. There are a few pin-hole sized flecks of paint loss to the upper right quadrant and brown pigment in the upper left, and two small paint losses towards the upper part of the left edge. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall lighter and the contrasts more subtle in the original.
