Painted on paper laid down by the artist on board. There are a few minor creases in places due to the laying down process and the edges of the board are slightly worn, with some small nicks in places (not visible when framed). UV examination reveals an extremely thin, approximately 5cm-long vertical line of retouching to the left of the woman on the right-hand side and a further few tiny spots of fluorescence to the red floor, which appear to be consistent with varnish. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
