Condition

The canvas is not lined. There is a thick layer of uneven varnish that prevents UV light from fully penetrating. However UV inspection reveals areas of retouching along all four edges which are not visible when framed. There is a shallow indentation under the varnish approximately 3cm in length to the first female figure to left of the fire. Overall good condition.
