Condition

The canvas is not lined. UV inspection confirms there is no retouching. There are a couple of fly spots to the woman's face and a slight undulation to the canvas at top right and left hand corners. There are areas of uneven varnish to the background in the lower quarter of the painting. Overall this work is in very good condiiton. Colours are fairly accurate but the background in the original is slightly warmer.
