Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a few small spots of retouching to the upper part of the left edge, a further few to the upper edge and a small 2cm-long retouching to the grass in the lower left quadrant. There are a few very fine lines of craquelure and minor paint shrinkage in places. Otherwise, this work is in overall very good condition, and has a lovely rich surface.
Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue.
