Condition

The panel is very slightly warped but appears to be stable. UV examination reveals a few tiny retouchings to the upper left corner and a very thin intermittent line of retouching along the left part of the extreme upper edge. The verso is painted by the artist with lines and dabs of pastel-coloured paint. This work is in overall good condition and the colours are remarkably fresh and bright. Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue.
