Condition
The canvas is not lined. UV examination reveals a few small areas of retouching to the upper right corner. There are some extremely fine lines of craquelure in places, which is slightly raised in some of the red pigments. There is some minor paint shrinkage to one of the grey fruits in the central bowl and a few tiny paint losses to some of the drier green pigments. Otherwise this work is in overall good condition and there is a lovely, rich impasto surface.
Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue.
