Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a thick layer of uneven varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating. However, UV examination does reveal a few spots of retouching to the white pigment on the left of the flute. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: Overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the background is slightly warmer in the original.
