Condition
The canvas is not lined and there is an uneven layer of discoloured varnish. UV examination reveals some scattered areas of retouching to the sky, which could easily be reduced. There are some fine lines of vertical craquelure in places, mainly to the upper part of the composition and some minute paint losses towards the centre right edge. This work would benefit from a clean. Otherwise, this work is in overall good condition.
Colours: overall fairly accurate in the printed catalogue.
