Condition
The canvas is not lined and there do not appear to be any signs of retouching visible under UV light. There are a few tiny paint losses to the black below the vase and a further few tiny losses to the flowers and foliage. There is some light surface dirt in places and this work would benefit from a light clean. Otherwise, this work is in overall very good original condition.
Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the yellows are slightly brighter in the original and there is a lovely rich impasto to the flowers.
