Condition
The canvas is not lined. There is a layer of varnish preventing the UV light from fully penetrating, but there is a small area of fluorescence to the right of the vase, close to the green area, probably due to pigment. The are some extremely fine lines of paint shrinkage, mainly to the thicker white pigment of the roses. Otherwise, this work is in overall very good condition.
Colours: Fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though the turquoise is more pronounced in the original.
