Condition

Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down and sandwiched in the overmount. There is some very minor creasing to the central part of the extreme left edge, a few extremely fine lines of craquelure and some minute paint losses in places. Otherwise this work is in overall very good condition. Colours: fairly accurate in the printed catalogue, though overall stronger and brighter in the original, and there is a lovely, rich impasto surface.
