the first, upright, with openwork chained stopper, discharge mark of Eloi Brichard, Paris , 1756-1762, 7 cm, 2 3/4 in; a cut-glass example, with slide-fastening cap, the top forming an eraser, combined funnel stopper, mid-19th century with contemporary Dutch control mark, 9,5 cm, 3 3/4 in ; a pink glass scent bottle with matching stopper and chased three-colour gold floral mount, English, circa 1830, French import mark, 8 cm, 3 1/8 in ; and five others including four with stoppers, circa 1840-1880, 8,2 cm, 3 1/4 in to 11 cm, 4 3/8 in

1: slightly distorted openwork stopper 2: good condition 3: good condition 4- reeded tier-shape lacking stopper: cap top compressed and dented, 11cm; 5- faceted tapering form, gold gallery at shoulder, circular gold cap, with stopper, Dutch control mark, 10.5cm 6- faceted, slightly tapering, sunray top to cap, with stopper, Dutch control mark, hinge repaired, otherwise good, 8.8cm 7- cut glass, diamond cut on collar and lobe cut on collar, slightly blended at tips of diamond cut, reeded and flower chased slide cap, with stopper, small dents to cap, French, 1809-1819 control mark, 8.5 cm 8- upright panelled and wasted form, with associated amethyst glass stopper, faceted hinged cap, 20th century French import mark, 8.3 cm
