Catalogue Note
Ce modèle de Bacchus a été créé en 1878 sous forme de chandelier à 7 et à 9 lumières par Carrier-Belleuse pour Christofle. Il a figuré dans l'Exposition Universelle de Paris en 1878 et celle d'Amsterdam en 1883. Sotheby's remercie vivement Anne Gros, responsable du musée Christofle, pour son aide.
