  • yellow gold, enamel, very small pearls (Margaritifera margaritifera)
  • Diam. 6 cm ; 2 3/8 in
ronde, le couvercle orné d'une plaque en émail peinte en plein d'une scène pastorale bordée de demi-perles, sur un fond guilloché de rayons, émaillé de bleu translucide, ceint de paillons en or et bordures émaillées de blanc opaque, poinçon de maître R en creux entre des rayons de soleil, poinçons de contrôle français et hollandais postérieurs

circular, the lid inset with an oval enamel plaque painted with a pastoral subject, split pearl borders, on a translucent blue sunray engine-turned ground, opaque white enamel and gold paillons borders, maker's mark  R incuse in script between sunrays,  later French and Dutch control marks

Condition

Generally in good order although there are small chips to lower white enamel border and restoration to the lid; enamel ground and borders. 80.1gr
