Designed as a carved coral squirrel carrying a carved emerald leaf, with a single-cut diamond eye, signed V.C.A France, numbered NY 1V302-5, with French workshop mark. With signed pouch.
Condition
In very good condition. The coral is a medium pinkish orange, slightly more orange in color than illustrated in the printed catalogue. Very well carved, with excellent detailing thoughout. Minor mottling on the reverse that is not visible when worn. The gold 'tail' presents a nice, naturalistic texture. The diamond is near colorless and decorative in quality. The emerald is decorative in quality. Also with French export marks on the reverse. Workshop mark for G. Lenfant.
