Description
- Buccellati

The pendant-brooch centered by an oval-shaped cabochon opal measuring approximately 32.0 by 22.0 by 9.0 mm, framed by numerous round sapphires, emeralds and rubies, suspended by a ropetwist chain, gross weight approximately 41 dwts, length of chain 19 inches, signed Buccellati, Italy; pendant-brooch detachable.
Condition
In good condition. The opal displays a good play-of-color, with green, orange and red hues dominating. There is very minor crazing that does not affect the stone's appearance. The sapphires, emeralds and rubies are all well-matched for color and decorative in quality. Chain attaches to a retractable pendant-hook to allow for wear as a brooch.
