The necklace designed as a multi-strand torsade composed of numerous cultured pearls measuring approximately 3.0 to 2.5 mm, centering a cabochon ruby weighing approximately 25.00 carats framed by round diamonds weighing 7.50 carats, length 16 inches, signed Cartier, Paris, numbered 57345, with French assay and maker's marks; the ring featuring a cabochon ruby measuring approximately 7.6 by 5.4 mm, surrounded by round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 1.50 carats, size 5ΒΌ, signed Cartier, Paris, 225535, with French workshop and assay marks; the earclips set with two cabochon rubies measuring approximately 6.5 by 4.5 mm, completed by round and baguette diamonds weighing approximately 1.55 carats, signed Cartier, Paris, numbered 225436 and 30243. The necklace with a signed box.
Condition
All pieces in good condition. NECKLACE: Some minor discoloration to the gold. The round pearls are well-matched for size, shape, and body color, predominantly a creamy white. The skins exhibit some heavy wrinkling and pitting, though the blemishing is not apparent when worn. The diamonds are approximately G-I color, VVS-VS clarity. The ruby is a deep, purplish red, heavily included with surface reaching inclusions and two cavities to the underside. RING: The ruby is a medium-deep purplish red, moderately included and translucent. The diamonds are approximately F-H color, VVS-VS clarity. EARCLIPS: The rubies are a deep, purplish red, moderately included and translucent. The diamonds are approximately F-G color, VVS-VS clarity.
