The stylized flowerhead centered by an old European-cut diamond weighing approximately 2.15 carats, framed and accented by round, single-cut and marquise-shaped diamonds weighing approximately 4.70 carats, the petals accented by numerous round rubies, circa 1950.

Condition

In very good condition. The center old European-cut diamond is approximately S-T color, VS clarity. The remainder of the diamonds are approximately G-J color, VS-SI clarity. The rubies are medium slightly purplish red and are lightly included overall, a few stones are moderately included and at least one stone bears a noticeable chip (to the pavilion). The gold mounting with some scratching, but this is not noticeable when the brooch is worn.
