The first pair of white shell earclips decorated with gold studs and colored stone cabochons, mounted in 14 karat gold; the second pair designed as fluted gold shells set with two cabochon sapphires and six round diamonds weighing approximately .10 carat, mounted in 18 karat gold.
Condition
In good condition. GOLD EARCLIPS: The gold with some scratching due to wear, small spots of tarnish to the reverse of the earclips. The sapphire cabochons are medium violetish blue, lightly included. The near-colorless diamonds are approximately VS clarity, gross weight approximately 10 dwts. SHELL EARCLIPS: There are two minor chips to the shells (one on each) but these are not readily apparent. The ruby cabochons are medium purplish red and moderately to heavily included, the sapphires are dark violet blue, moderately included and the emeralds are medium green and heavily included.
