Condition

Overall good restored condition; terresterial globe with small chips and marks to gores throughout; the gores are a largele; the south pole with a large semiciruclar scratch and appears to have repaired cracks along the hour ring; the horizon ring with some inpainted losses and cracks to paper; the paper is stable; the mahogany stand with loss to one bracket of quarter support; old repaired break to base of stem at join with one leg; the celestial globe in good restored condition; old repaired break to top of globe at join with meridian ring; old repaired breaks at join with meridian ring at base along the hour ring, and with some large circular scratches at base with some losses; interior of the globe with loose particles;the horizon ring with some small losses otherwise in fair condition; paper is stable; the stand with loss to one bracket of quarter support; old repaired breaks to tops of two legs; overall with usual minor scratches and bruises consistent with age and use.
