the figured serpentine fronted top with canted from corners and a moulded edge above a conforming case fitted with a brushing slide above four cock-beaded drawers with brass bail handles, the corners inlaid with pendant husks inssuing from a flower head and edged with rope twist stringing, on a molded base with shaped conforming bracket feet edged with molded C-scrolls.

Condition

Overall good condition; the lower two drawers with losses to the cockbeading to the right sides; second drawer from the top lacking its lock plate; right side with two thin vertical age cracks; bottom drawer with four in-filled small holes around keyhole; overall with usual old marks, scratches and bruises. Beautifully made with oak-lined drawers and with solid mahogany drawer fronts veneered with mahogany; the mahogany with lovely color and nice old surface; appears to retain original hardware.
