with a tambour front opening to an arrangement of small drawers and pigeonholes and with a pull out writing slide centered by a leather panel rising on ratchet support above a central satinwood banded drawer above an arch flanked at each side by two smaller drawers, the sides and back paneled to simulate drawers, each side fitted with a pull out slide and supported on molded square tapered legs with brass casters. Later handles, restorations.

Condition
Overall good restored condition; the top with a thin age crack approximately 24 inches in length running from the left side into the middle; back of the desk with a small inpainted patch to top left corner; small patch above top right dummy drawer; small veneer patch above central dummy drawer; front left leg slightly off kilter; both front legs with two metal L brackets to help support; the tambour cylinder with minor nicks and wear; two small veneer patches above top left drawer; two small veneer patches beneath bottom right corner of central drawer; gilt-tooled leather lining replaced but with age and with minor scratches and wear; small nicks and chips to cockbeading throughout.
