Condition

Pile ranges from 1/8th of an inch, mostly in indigo dark blues of field and surround to low to knotheads and areas of scattered spot foundation in areas of foldwear and oxidized medium brown. A 7x5" reweave in right side of field. A smaller 2x3" reweave at lower edge of field. Some scattered repiling, not extensive. Scattered spot stains. Upper end dark blue surround with some repiled old moth damage, now faded to light blue. Some minor scattered old moth damage. Sides original with some losses to selvages, ends with original flatwoven finishes with upper ends with remnants of knotted fringes. Supple handle, good overall design, good overall condition.
