Condition

Pile generally good, dense 1/6in. overall. Minor scattered areas with foldwear low to knotheads. Majority of red field has been overtinted to even out color. Some rose reads in flowers also tinted. Recommend testing dyes before cleaning. Repiled moth damage, particularly in left side of carpet. Partially rewoven outer end guard border on left side. Some further repiling to field. Sides overcast. Original upper end flatwoven finish, lower with trimmed warp fringes; recommend securing. Dense, robust weave, lustrous wool, flexible handle.
