Condition

Pile ranges from closely shorn, near original from 1/8th of an inch to low to knotheads and scattered spot foundation in areas of foldwear throughout. Some very minor repiled moth damage in border, not extensive. Sides with original two cord selvages with abrasions and very minor fraying, not extensive. Ends secured with binding stitch. Carpet has been chemically washed to soften color palette. Flexible handle, will enhance with light cleaning and some minor restoration to sides. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States. Clients should enquire with the U.S. Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) regarding export requirements.
