Condition

Pile generally good, near original, closely sheared 1/10". Some medium browns oxidized to knotheads. Some isolated areas of foundation slightly dry resulting in few small slits. Some minor moth tracks. Sides original with some small losses to selvages. End guard stripes rewoven, now with later fringes and flatwoven finish. Supple handle, lustrous wool, good overall condition. Please note that a license may be required to export textiles, rugs and carpets of Iranian origin from the United States.
