Knots per square inch: 19-21 horizontal, 27-28 vertical

Condition

Pile generally good, near original, closely shorn, approximately 1/10th of an inch overall. Very few small visible warp ties, not extensive. Small vertical foldwear in central medallion with no loss to pile. Ends with original flatwoven finishes and silk warp fringes. Lower right corner with some minor fraying and loss to pile. Sides with some minor losses to selvages, not extensive. Left side with cotton band sewn on reverse. Very supple handle, very good overall condition.
