The chest with a molded cornice above a pair of short drawers over three graduated long drawers above a later molded apron; the stand with molded edge above a plain frieze raised on Tuscan columns joined by scalloped stretchers on bun feet.

Condition

Overall good condition; brass hardware and pulls later; some patches around the key hole escutcheons were holes for previous hardware are still visible; the lower molded edge later; the stand nicely made with cross-cut molding and fits proportionally to the chest; overall with minor nicks and losses to veneers at extremities; marquetry stable; some old marks and scratches.
