The swan-neck pediment above four graduated long drawers, the lower section fitted with a sliding panel fitted with a baize-lined books rest or ratchet support and small well for writing instruments above three graduated long drawers, raised on bracket feet.  Alterations.

Condition

Fair condition; nice color and figuring to the walnut; small losses to moldings throughout, visible in the catalogue illustration; some small chips and losses to veneers around feet apron and sides; large loss to veneer to back right foot; overall with old marks and scratches; the fitted brushing slide appears to be later fitted.
