the slant-front opening to a central prospect door flanked by fluted pilaster fronted secret drawers headed with Corinthian capitals and and arrangment of pigeonholes and small drawers, the case fitted with a pair of short drawers above three graduated long drawers.

Condition

Overall good condition; well-made with cedar-lined drawers and solid mahogany drawer fronts veneered with mahogany; very good color and surface; the front ogee-feet with restorations to the side brackets, the right side bracket replaced; some restorations to cockbeading of drawers; the handles appear to be original; case sides with minor vertical age cracks; front left foot with old crack; overall with usual nicks, scratches and scuffs.
