Condition
Window mounted and laid down on paper. There are some areas of minor staining to the edges of the sheet and some small areas of surface dirt throughout. Otherwise in good condition.

This drawing is a preliminary idea for Cortona's illustration used in the second edition of G. Teti, Aedes Barberinae ad Quirinalem, Rome 1647. The preparatory drawing (see fig. 1) for the engraving is in the collection of the Instituto Nazionale per la Grafica, Rome1.
