  • A FINE AND VERY ATTRACTIVE YELLOW GOLD, DIAMOND, RUBY, SAPPHIRE, ENAMEL, LAPIS LAZULI, MOTHER-OF-PEARL, TURQUOISE AND ONYX MANTEL CLOCK

With mechanical jeweled movement, mother-of-pearl dial, circular case with lapis lazuli set ornamental bezel, square diamond set quarter hour numerals, fluted drum shaped case, the case surmounted on a gold, diamond and black enamel saddle itself blended into a finely sculptured and textured gold elephant dressed for the circus, its trunk hold a gold and diamond set baton, sapphire tipped tusks, ruby set eyes, mother-of-pearl decorated feet, the elephant resting on a circular platform of onyx, itself resting on a lapis lazuli and turquoise checkered base above a gold plinth set with four small elephants with extraordinarily large ears, possibly resembling “Dumbo”, case, dial and movement signed.

Condition

The very appealing clock is an absolute jewel. Very attractive, this clock is in very nice condition, little signs of use. One of the turquoise tapered panels with a chip to one corner, otherwise all is in tact. Dial is clean and the movement is in working condition. Highly recommend.
