Description

Each centring on a sugar loaf cabochon ruby altogether weighing 10.22 carats, framed by circular-cut yellow diamonds, surrounded by eight marquise-shaped diamonds, the diamonds altogether weighing approximately 6.00 carats, mounted in 18 karat white and yellow gold, with clip and post fittings.

Condition

Colour and Clarity: According to GIA report, the two sugarloaf rubies are natural, of Burmese origin, with no indications of heating, vivid red "pigeon's blood" colour. Please refer to the report for details. In our opinion, the rubies are matching,of intense red colour, moderately included to naked eyes. Upon 10x loupe, there are natural inclusions and surface-reaching feathers and pits, not noticeable to naked eyes. Marquise diamonds are about E to F colours, VVS to VS clarity. Tiny yellow diamonds are of vivid saturation,VS to SI clarity. Condition: Karat white and yellow gold mount, in mint condition. IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please note that jadeite and rubies of Burmese origin and articles of jewellery containing jadeite or rubies of Burmese origin all less than 100 years old may not be imported into the US. Accompanied by GIA report numbered 6155434174, dated 25 June 2013, stating that the rubies are natural, of Burmese (Myanmar) origin, with no indications of heating. The colour appearance of the stones are described in the trade as "Pigeon's Blood".
