painting signed Yuanlu, inscribed "following the brush-idea of Ni (Ni Zan, 1301-1374) and Huang (Huang Gongwang, 1269-1354)", with one seal of the artist, hong bao; calligraphy signed Minhai Huang Daozhou, with one seal of the artist, huang dao zhou yin. Frontispiece and colophon by Zhang Shijun (ca. 20th century), signed Shizhai (2), Wujin Zhang Shijun, colophon dated dingchou (1937), the third lunar month, with five seals, shi zhai, tang shang cao tang, shi zhai ren, zhang shi jun xin yin yue li ju shou, zhang zhong qing.
