Description

the bombé body rising from a spreading foot to an everted lipped rim, painted to the exterior with the Three Star Gods divided by the characters fu, lu and shou, all above a ruyi band and below a chevron border at the rim, the base with an apocryphal Xuande mark within a double-circle

Condition

In good general condition, with some minor firing imperfections, pitting and glaze pulls. Some rubbing to the underglaze blue to the figure of Shoulao, as visible in the catalogue image.
