ink and colour on silk, depicting immortals standing on a terraced roof and looking up to a sea of clouds, mounted and framed
Condition
There is a 6cm cm vertical tear to the top centre section which divides in two at the top. There a smaller tear to the left of this and another smaller one above this to the left. There is also some vertical creasing and staining in this area. The rest of the work is generally in good condition, but there is a diagonal scratch 11cm long running through the immortal at the bottom of the steps at the first balcony. There is also a 6cm vertical scratch/repaired tear running through the femal immortal to the right of this and there is a 3cm long vertical scratch/repaired tear running through the back of the figure at the bottom of the stairs. There is some staining and scratches to the lower left and upper right areas (clouds) and there is some paint loss to the immortal with the bright blue robes and the immortal with the bright red robes. There are some light creases to the left and below the immortal holding the plate with the peach.
