Description

thinly potted, the rounded sides supported on a tapered foot, brightly enamelled to the interior with a central medallion enclosing a six-petalled cartouche painted with figures on boats at the riverbanks, all reserved on a pink ground pencilled with floral scrolls, encircled by shaped cartouches of flowering and fruiting sprays reserved on a diaper ground, the exterior applied with a rich ruby-pink glaze

Condition

A semi-circular section of the rim, measuring approximately 80mm by a maximum of 30mm broken it two, out and re-stuck with extensive over-spraying. Approximately 6 flakes to ruby-enamel to the underside.
