the deep rounded sides divided into four lobes, rising from a straight foot to an everted rim, the exterior painted with four panels variously enclosing dragons in pursuit of flaming pearlS and phoenix in flight amidst scrolling clouds, the interior similarly decorated with a central medallion enclosing a dragon writhing around a flaming pearl amongst clouds, the rim encircled on both sides by a wave band with florets, the foot with a keyfret band, inscribed to the base with a six-character reign mark within a double-circle

Condition

The bowl is in very good condition with the exception of three glaze hairlines to the rim measuring 0.3cm, 0.4cm and 0.7cm, visible only on the interior. Some light glaze scratches and several tiny glaze pin-holes at the rim.
