of oval form, the cover carved with a quail and leafy millet sprays, the stone of an even white tone; together with a pale celadon jade ‘chilong’ washer
Provenance
Purchased in France, 15th May 1991 (box) and 9th February 1994 (washer).
Condition
The box is in good condition with the exception of minute nicks to the extremities such as the rims.
The dragon washer is in good condition with the exception of minute nicks along the extremities such as the nose of the chilong.
The stones are of a more celadon tone compared to the catalogue illustration.
