the globular body rising from a short foot to a tapering neck with lipped rim, painted with shaped cartouches variously enclosing peach, pomegranate, peony and chrysanthemum on stools wrapped with brocaded textiles, all below ruyi-shaped lappets decorated with smaller ruyi heads against a diaper ground, the neck similarly decorated, all divided by trellis, stiff leaf and keyfret bands, Japanese wood box

Condition
The vase is in very good condition with the exception of very minor characteristic glaze firing imperfections including tiny glaze pulls, glaze pin holes and very light glaze scratches.
