the white translucent stone mottled with russet patches, carved in the form of a short-tailed bird with a protruding forehead and an incurved beak grasping a spray of lotus, the plumage meticulously detailed with variegated feathers and the clawed-feet tucked beneath, stand
Condition
There is a minuscule bruise to the tip of the bird's beak. Otherwise the carving is in good condition.
