Description

finely potted with shallow everted sides supported on a straight foot, brightly painted in shaded tones of cobalt, the interior with a central shou medallion wreathed in a garland of alternating pomegranate and suspended bouquets enclosed by strapwork frames of interlinked foliate scrolls, all within a double-line border repeated at the rim, the underside similarly decorated with clusters of composite flowers framed by strapwork panels, between double-line borders encircling the rim and foot, the base inscribed in underglaze blue with a six-character reign mark within double circles

Condition

There are light scratches on the interior and a pin-prick air bubble on the rim. Otherwise the saucer dish is in good condition.
